So… I now lead guided Medicinal/Edible Mushroom & Plant Hikes in the Blue Ridge Mountains around Asheville, NC. My tours are enjoyed by individuals, groups and organizations!
TOUR DETAILS
My Hiking Tours will acquaint you with a variety of poisonous, edible and medicinal mushrooms. I will also teach you about many useful plants in our region. What you will see is dependent on the season and what growing conditions have occurred. There are dependable regulars that we most always see on a Tour, and unexpected gifts that Mother Nature surprises us with!
Guided Hiking Tours are 1.5 to 2 hours in length.
Tours take place in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, in areas around Asheville, Black Mountain, Brevard, Burnsville and Old Fort.
Hiking Tours are suitable for families.
COST: The typical charge for a Hiking Tour is $60 per person & half price for children.
