“In 2021 my wirehaired dachshund, Chacha Rodriquez, age 9 was diagnosed with apocrine adenocarcinoma, a mass in her right ear. My vet removed the mass on 11/11/21, but unfortunately, she was not able to remove the stem of the mass because it was too close to her eardrum. She sent us to Upstate Vet where Chacha saw an oncologist. Her diagnosis was cancer and for $6000 she would remove Chacha's eardrum and close up her ear leaving her deaf in one ear. If I did not give her this procedure she had less than a year to live. Needless to say I was devastated. On my way home I stopped by Mary's Pet Store (Asheville Pet Supplies) and spoke with the helpful people that work there. I was told about the mushrooms. They had an immunity formula for cats and it seemed to be effective for dogs as well, but she would need a stronger dose than this formula provided. As I wandered home, I noticed the farmer's market had begun in my neighborhood so I stopped in. I walked immediately to the first table and met Kevin. I told him my story and he picked out 2 tinctures for Chacha and she has been taking them ever since along with a Chinese herb and one med from my vet. Chacha will be 13 this January 17, 2025 and she has been just fine and can hear out of both ears. “I had bronchitis (which turned into pneumonia) and mono at the same time a few years back and it nearly took me out. Mullein tincture was the only thing that softened mucus enough to allow me to dispel it from my diaphragm. I had multiple rounds of antibiotics fail, over the counter medications for cough weren’t helping me breathe, and my humidifier couldn’t help on its own.
